· We participate on both State and Local Boards that make decisions about programs and services for people having mental illness.
· We collaborate with other organizations that represent consumers, family members and professionals.

· We publish newsletters focused on conferences, workshops, policies and laws that affect those with mental illness.
· We advocate with elected officials on issues affecting mental health.
· Support and recognize individuals and consumer groups who work to overcome stigma in their local communities.
· We maintain a resource library for consumers on mental health issues.
